How do I get to Charming Beauty from Reese?
Head north on M-81 through Richville. The drive is about 25 minutes with no highway driving - just a straight, easy route. When you reach Caro, we're at 124 N. State St inside Just Teasin' Salon, right in downtown.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes - free parking is available on the street in front of the building and in the lot behind the building. Unlike downtown Saginaw or Flint, you won't need to pay for parking or walk far from your car. Most clients park within 30 seconds of the front door.
Is the 25-minute drive from Reese worth it?
For quality nail and lash services, we're the closest option. Saginaw is about 35-40 minutes, Flint is over an hour. Our Reese clients appreciate that we take our time with each appointment and use professional-grade products. Many have tried closer options in the past and now drive to us specifically for the quality and consistency.
Lash Extension Maintenance
How often do I need lash fills?
Most clients come in every 2-3 weeks for lash fills. Your natural lashes shed and regrow on a cycle, so fills replace the extensions that have fallen out with your natural lash. Waiting longer than 3 weeks usually means you'll need a more extensive fill or a full set redo. For Reese clients, we recommend booking your next fill before you leave each appointment.
How long does a lash fill appointment take?
Lash fill appointments typically take 45-60 minutes, depending on how much regrowth needs attention. A first-time full set takes longer - about 2-2.5 hours for classic lashes, and up to 3 hours for volume sets. Many Reese clients use the time to relax, listen to music, or take a quick nap.
How do I take care of my lash extensions between appointments?
Avoid oil-based products near your eyes, don't rub or pull at your lashes, and gently brush them daily with the spoolie we provide. Avoid sleeping face-down if possible. Skip waterproof mascara (though you shouldn't need mascara at all with extensions). Following these steps helps your lashes last the full 2-3 weeks between fills.
Gel Manicure & Nail Care
How long do gel manicures last?
Gel manicures typically last 2-3 weeks without chipping. For clients with very active lifestyles (farming, gardening, frequent hand-washing), dip powder is often a better choice - it's more durable and can last 3-4 weeks. Both options dry instantly under the UV lamp, so you can use your hands immediately after your appointment.
How often should I get my nails done?
Most clients return every 2-3 weeks for gel manicures. As your nails grow, you'll see a gap at the cuticle where your natural nail shows. Some clients stretch to 3-4 weeks depending on how fast their nails grow and how visible the grow-out is with their polish color. Lighter colors and French tips show growth more than darker shades.
Can I remove gel polish at home between appointments?
We recommend having gel polish professionally removed to avoid damaging your natural nails. Peeling or picking off gel can pull layers of your nail with it. If you need an emergency removal, soak cotton pads in acetone, wrap each nail in foil for 10-15 minutes, then gently push the softened gel off. But whenever possible, come in for a proper removal - we'll take care of it quickly.

How often should I get a pedicure?
For foot health and appearance, every 4-6 weeks is ideal. Gel pedicures last longer than regular polish - often 4-6 weeks without chipping since toenails grow slower than fingernails. Many Reese clients ramp up pedicure frequency in spring and summer for sandal season, then scale back in fall and winter.
What's included in a spa pedicure?
Our spa pedicures include a warm soak, cuticle care, callus removal, nail shaping, exfoliating scrub, moisturizing massage, and polish application. The full service takes about 45-60 minutes. For longer-lasting color, upgrade to gel polish. Many clients combine a pedicure with their manicure appointment - we can do both in one visit.

Yes - we book up fast for prom, homecoming, and graduation. For the best availability, schedule nail and lash appointments 2-3 weeks before your event. If you're coordinating a group (bridal party, dance group, mother-daughter appointments), let us know and we can block out adjacent time slots.
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
We understand life in a small town - farm obligations, weather, family needs. Give us 24 hours notice if you can, and we'll reschedule you without any issue. We send text reminders before each appointment so you don't forget. If something comes up last-minute, just call us as soon as you know.
Can I set up recurring appointments?
